The challenge, other than its sheer size, was the company operating ‘live’ at the location — so refurbishment had to be progressive in order not to affect its day-to-day function.
A global leader in fragrances and flavours, Givaudan uses many natural ingredients and this became the design inspiration for its 4-storey office. Each floor springs from the textures or moods of a particular spice or flavour. Drawing on four vibrant colours also serve as way-finding, giving individual storeys a common visual denominator. Ultimately creating four spaces brought together by the vision of innovating scents and tastes to engage the world.
